Swimming with Tigers
Tigers are known as the best swimmers of all the big cats with modified webbing between their toes to make their feet more like flippers. But The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species, or Tigers, near Miami, claims to have overcome the problem by encouraging both tigers and humans to swim together in a specially adapted pool. Traditionally, trainers have struggled to build an attachment with the largest of the big cats. Despite the apparent danger, the trainers are never at risk. They’ve found that in the water people and tigers are on a more equal footing. The hand-reared tigers are introduced to the water a few months after birth and the trainers then give one-on-one tuition to each of the animals while they are in the water.br /br /a href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2odSbClHI/AAAAAAAAUsI/n4KyEqthdTM/s1600-h/Swimming_with_Tigers_01.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2odSbClHI/AAAAAAAAUsI/n4KyEqthdTM/s400/Swimming_with_Tigers_01.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”"id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259545160953533554″ //abr /a href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2odmLpHlI/AAAAAAAAUsQ/L0vxrtFbt_Y/s1600-h/Swimming_with_Tigers_02.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2odmLpHlI/AAAAAAAAUsQ/L0vxrtFbt_Y/s400/Swimming_with_Tigers_02.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”"id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259545166257659474″ //abr /a href=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oeF8iVGI/AAAAAAAAUsY/nHzmF0k58VY/s1600-h/Swimming_with_Tigers_03.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;” src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oeF8iVGI/AAAAAAAAUsY/nHzmF0k58VY/s400/Swimming_with_Tigers_03.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”"id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259545174784234594″ //abr /a href=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oeBUu1OI/AAAAAAAAUsg/Xm_l1JwFRIM/s1600-h/Swimming_with_Tigers_04.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;” src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oeBUu1OI/AAAAAAAAUsg/Xm_l1JwFRIM/s400/Swimming_with_Tigers_04.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”"id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259545173543539938″ //abr /a href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oT2cIOAI/AAAAAAAAUrg/IVn2zJUsPII/s1600-h/Swimming_with_Tigers_05.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oT2cIOAI/AAAAAAAAUrg/IVn2zJUsPII/s400/Swimming_with_Tigers_05.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”"id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259544998823081986″ //abr /a href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oUMuju-I/AAAAAAAAUro/9iB2CAD1V5Q/s1600-h/Swimming_with_Tigers_06.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oUMuju-I/AAAAAAAAUro/9iB2CAD1V5Q/s400/Swimming_with_Tigers_06.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”"id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259545004805962722″ //abr /a href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oUYZmLEI/AAAAAAAAUrw/BaX_jz78IH8/s1600-h/Swimming_with_Tigers_07.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oUYZmLEI/AAAAAAAAUrw/BaX_jz78IH8/s400/Swimming_with_Tigers_07.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”"id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259545007939267650″ //abr /a href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oUjiuSnI/AAAAAAAAUr4/VuhTz-SO_YQ/s1600-h/Swimming_with_Tigers_08.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oUjiuSnI/AAAAAAAAUr4/VuhTz-SO_YQ/s400/Swimming_with_Tigers_08.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”"id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259545010930338418″ //abr /a href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oUoeVvYI/AAAAAAAAUsA/cYCmdY_rFOc/s1600-h/Swimming_with_Tigers_09.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SP2oUoeVvYI/AAAAAAAAUsA/cYCmdY_rFOc/s400/Swimming_with_Tigers_09.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”"id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259545012254129538″ //a
Amazing Rock Balancing Art
Bill Dan from San Francisco has been balancing rocks since 1994 and he does have mad skills. It may look easy but once you try it, you’ll find out that a whole lot of concentration, balancing skills and talent is needed to do this kind of feat. br /br /a href=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mmBw3uzPnJI/SPY86kqTUPI/AAAAAAAAUgA/anUcOWQVKLI/s1600-h/rock_balancing_01.jpg”target=”_blank”img style=”display:block; Subway Art
At Toronto’s Bayview subway station, shadows of common objects such as apples and ladders silk screened to the linoleum and walls framed by patches of colored tile gives the place a surreal look. Panya Clark Espinal is the artist who designed the art in the Bayview Station.
In this installation created for the Toronto Transit Commission, twenty-four hand-drawn images have been ‘projected’ onto the architecture of the station so that when seen from the original location of projection, the images are crystalized and realistic, but when seen from other locations they appear to be abstractions.
These images act as beacons, drawing the viewers along various paths of movement. Depicting everyday objects and simple geometric shapes, the images are rendered in an uncommonly large scale and in unusual orientations, allowing one to interact playfully with them as one moves through the space.

The World’s Tallest LEGO Tower
At 96.73 feet (29.485 meters) this Lego tower built in the Rathaus Platz in Vienna has broken the world record for the tallest Lego construction in the world. It took nearly 460,000 bricks and it was built over four days. The views from the top are quite stunning. It was built by hundreds of children to celebrate the four-day 100 Years of Friends of Children festival and really put the hurt on Legoland Windsor in England – beating them by a whole 18cm.
